14th Annual Tobin Family Volunteer Fair Was a Great Success
Thanks to everyone who helped make our 14th Annual Family Volunteer Fair a great success. It was a beautiful Fall day and we loved seeing so many families come out to support all our wonderful projects. Again this year we organized family and child-friendly community service projects to support those in need, both here in Natick and abroad. Here’s a look at this year’s fair by the numbers:
- Over 170 people helped at this year’s event
- We filled two super large bins with candy for the troops
- We mixed, rolled and baked 100’s of pumpkin dog biscuits for Buddy Dog Humane Society
- We decorated and packed 215 snack bags for children who come with their parents to ‘shop’ at A Place to Turn Emergency Food Pantry
- We cut and knotted 4 no-sew blankets for homeless families served by Family Promise Metrowest
- We filled 80 thank you bags to give to our Natick fire fighters and police officers
- We colored and filled 39 Soothing Rice Bags for seniors at the Natick Service Council
- We put together 40 jars of 5-Bean Soup mix to be sent out to families served through the Natick Service Council
- We donated 5 shopping bags of used books left from our sale to Bagong Kulturang Pinoy
- We shared $30 of our donations to Buddy Dog Humane Society and $50 to Tailored for Education
- And our food sale brought in $206 to be donated to Embrace a Family here in Natick
A million thanks to those who donated items for our projects, joined us that day to help with our projects, and helped make this year’s fair such as success! And a very special shout out to all our Tobin employees who volunteered their time on this day!!!
