18th Annual Tobin Family Volunteer Fair Was a GREAT Success
Many, many thanks to all the folks who came out for Saturday’s Annual Tobin Family Volunteer Fair. We had great weather and we loved seeing everyone working together to support those in need.
Want to know what all those donations and your efforts were for? Here is our 18th Annual Family Volunteer Fair ‘by the numbers’:
- Over 100 people joined us for this special event!
- We filled 48 instant oatmeal jars for the food pantry at the Natick Service Council
- We made 6 no-sew fleece mats for animals at the Bay Path Humane Society
- We decorated and filled 107 snack bags to hand out to children while their parents ‘shop’ at At Place To Turn emergency food pantry
- We rolled, cut and baked 100’s of dog biscuits for animals served at Buddy Dog Humane Society
- We decorated 10 cardboard boxes to pack our Thanksgiving Feasts in for families served by Family Promise Metrowest
- We ran our used book sale and offered painting to gather $58.50 in donations for World Central Kitchen
- We colored hundreds of pictures and messages of thanks for US soldiers for Operation Gratitude
- We donated all unsold books to the Morse Institute Library for their annual book sales
- We sold $130.00 worth of items at our Alex’s Lemonade Stand to go toward children’s cancer research
- We collected 43 gently used coats for Anton’s Dry Cleaners Coats for Kids & Families drive
